In the framework of the project CiProVoT European volunteers of civil protection visited the premises of APD DEPIN and were informed on the actions of Civil Protection Directorate, including European cross-border activities like SFEDA. This technical meeting took place at Decentralized Administration of Peloponnese, Western Greece and the Ionian, during which all volunteers where informed about SFEDA project and its benefits.

National Annual conference of the University of Ruse and the Union of Scientists in Ruse, Bulgaria
The project was presented and disseminated at the National Annual conference of the University of Ruse and the Union of Scientists in Ruse, Bulgaria. Two papers - A SOLUTION FOR EARLY FOREST FIRE DETECTION USING AIRCRAFT PLATFORM AND NEURAL NETWORK COMPUTING ENGINE and OBSERVATION AND ANALYSIS OF REMOTE FOREST AREAS AND EARLY FOREST FIRE DETECTION USING DRONES were presented and published in the proceedings of the conference.
3rd Progress meeting
The 3rd progress meeting of SFEDA project will take place on 16-17/5/2019. The meeting will be held by the University of Ruse “Angel Kanchev” (PP4) and the Directorate of Nature Park Rusenski Lom (PP5).
Participation in Patras IQ
On 12-14/4/2019 we will participate in the 6th Innovation & Technology Transfer Exhibition - Patras lnnovation Quest (PATRAS IQ).
Visit to the forest of Strofilia
On 7/3/2019 the University of Patras visited the area of Loutra Yrminis, in Strofilia region, in order to inspect the testing area.
