The project was presented and disseminated at the National Annual conference of the University of Ruse and the Union of Scientists in Ruse, Bulgaria. Two papers - A SOLUTION FOR EARLY FOREST FIRE DETECTION USING AIRCRAFT PLATFORM AND NEURAL NETWORK COMPUTING ENGINE and OBSERVATION AND ANALYSIS OF REMOTE FOREST AREAS AND EARLY FOREST FIRE DETECTION USING DRONES were presented and published in the proceedings of the conference.

On the 6th of July 2018 one member of the PP2’s team, Demetrios Katsaros, gave a presentation entitled "Innovative Practices in Civil Protection", where the SFEDA project was mentioned. The conference lasted two days 6th -7th July and it took place at ROYAL PATRAS.

Project SFEDA was presented by four project representatives (Assist. Prof. Ivanka Tsvetkova, PhD, Assoc. Prof. Nina Bencheva, PhD, Assoc. Prof. Yoana Ruseva, PhD and Prof. Mihail Iliev, DSc) within the panel session "The Danube region – comprehensive, working, competitive and safe", which was held under the Conference “The EU Strategy for the Danube Region - Present and Future”. The conference was one of the three main events under the conference “Danube Triad”, which was hosted by the District Information Centre of Ruse on the 4th and 5th of October 2018. The participation of the project was following an invitation by the Manager of the District Information Centre of Ruse – Mrs. Kamelia Mahakian. Supporting materials are attached to the report.

On 28th of November 2018 the SFEDA project was presented in a large audience in the premises of Municipality of Western Achaia, where the protective area of Kotyxi - Strofilia belongs. This event was organized by the Municipality of Western Achaia, the LP and the Decentralized Administration of Peloponnese, Western Greece and the Ionian. The aim of this event was to inform the local community about SFEDA project and its benefits.
